CUTHBERT

Cuthbert is the musical director of the akatones, arranging most of the scores and more or less keeping everything going the way it should. Very much the leader of the band, Cuthbert is also a talented keyboardist and has provided accompaniment at various functions and weddings. An avid buying of music equipment, Cuthbert is also responsible for the akatones sound, always seeking new methods by which to improve the group's performance capabilities and mobility.

Apart from being the group's technical guru, Cuthbert's involvement in the group centers around experimenting with vocal percussion parts and arranging music. Productivity peaks every two years when the World Cup and Euro football competitions are held alternately; he arranges music while awaiting the start of football matches in the wee hours of the morning. The akatones are currently contemplating bi-annual concerts...
