SPECIAL APPEARANCE

The akatones will be making a special appearance at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre on Friday and Saturday, 11 and 12 July 2003 as part of  the Esplanade Waterfront series of concerts. Marking the group's first concert at Singapore's newest state-of-the-art performance venue, the akatones will be delivering two 45-minute sets each night, showcasing a unique hard-hitting energetic style of a cappella. Beginning at 7.30 pm on both nights and lasting through to 9.30, the performance is open to the public and is free-of-charge.

The concert will feature some of the more popular songs from the akatones' repertoire of the last 5 years. Do come by and spend the weekend with the akatones.

Yes it rained. But the crowd still gathered! Thank you for the overwhelming support shown at this performance in spite of the unpredictable weather. For those present, we hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did. For those who were not able to make it, the akatones will be back at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre on August 9th, National Day. Do join in the celebrations as the akatones rock the country!
