No, that's not Michael in the picture on the left. If you'd look closely enough, you'd see him though, in the reflection on Mogan's funky shades. Alas, for all the talents of the akatones, there is but one so endowed to be photographer, destined never to appear from the shadows. Which is where he'd rather stay anyway.

On stage you can recognise him as the one giving the pitch and other musical directions, and also the one keeping the fort with the highest notes. Not content to just sing the higher parts, most of what you see on this website is also part of his repertoire, allowing him the freedom to do whatever he wants, such as changing colours indiscriminately, without thought of aesthetics or sensibilities. Or saying things like "Good thing I don't look like the guy on the left!" In Bold!

Real good thing then that he doesn't make websites for a living. Though you wouldn't know it from looking around here, his favourite colour is blue. Can be unreasonable at times.
